In an increasingly interconnected world, mastering English has become a fundamental skill, and AI is emerging as a revolutionary tool to transform how we learn and teach this language. Artificial intelligence has the potential to take English language instruction to an entirely new level. At this point, it's possible to have personalized and adaptive learning, where each student receives the material and feedback they need, precisely at the right moment. AI can analyze individual progress, identify areas for improvement, and offer specific exercises, which accelerates the language acquisition process and makes it more effective.
One of the most fascinating aspects of this course is to explore the use of AI for creating teaching resources and materials. From this modules, the expectation is to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively integrate AI into teaching practices. Learning to select the most appropriate AI tools, design innovative activities that leverage their potential, and critically evaluate their results is another objective to achieve. The initial thoughts are of great enthusiasm and optimism. As a teacher, my main goal and desire is to get the most out of studying these two modules, to be able to create activities that benefit students, and to be part of the group of teachers who advance daily along the path of teaching using artificial intelligence. AI isn't here to replace the teacher, but rather to enhance their work, freeing them from repetitive tasks so they can focus on what's most important: human interaction, motivating, and guiding their students. Below are the highlights of MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DESIGN THINKING and MODULE 2: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO ENHANCE STUDENTS' ENGLISH SKILLS.
